Science Saturdays is program that combines adult learning with discussion. We spend a bit of time learning some of the basics before we dive in for conversation. During this session, we covered Research and References because it feels like everyone knows how to "do their research," but do they actually?

Here I present as a Crow Wing County Master Gardener on composting, covering the three major forms of residential composting: traditional heap, vermiculture (worms), and bokashi fermentation. The original presentation was held at the Brainerd Public Library on December 9, 2025. The presentation failed to record, so this is a re-recording of that presentation. Enjoy!
